Dare To Go Beyond The Status Quo

The other day, I was Toastmaster of the evening at my EY Toastmasters club meeting and the theme that I chose for the evening was “Dare To Go Beyond The Status Quo.” This is something that I feel very passionate about and something that I truly wanted to speak about to open people’s mind to what’s really going on out there.

There are a lot of us that don’t fit the boxes that society defines for us so why not create our own box?

Remember that if there is something that you’re really passionate about, but you are afraid to pursue it because of criticism from others, fear of the unknown, fear of risk to name a few, I would suggest that you try to do it anyway. Like Nike says- “Just do it.” And if you don’t know where to start... just start, you will learn everything as you go along. If you truly look deep inside of you- you already have all of the skills inside of you to make anything you put your mind to- a HUGE SUCCESS 😊
